Vermillion is a dual use electric bike that can be street legal when you ride on the road and can be transformed into an overpowered monster when going off-road. The Vermillion comes kitted out with high-end components rarely seen on electric bikes. Components such as fully adjustable DNM competition level suspension front and rear, Tektro Dorado 180mm hydraulic brakes and quality Maxxis tires. Along with these high-end bike related components, the Vermillion is packed full of all the absolute best in e-bike performance including the latest rear hub from Bafang (rated up to 1,500W peak power) 30A peak sinusoidal controller and high capacity, long range 530Wh Lithium-ion frame battery. To access the dual usage of the Vermillion, customers will require the USB reprogramming cable (sold separately) which is required to legally reduce the power of the controller to 250W.

Product Description

Designed in Australia

Just like a number of our new models, we've worked on developing this model in-house, drawing on our years of unique experience both with high performance, and road legal e-bike designs. Our unique style of offering both of these kinds of e-bikes gives us an unfair advantage when it comes to the formulation of a 'dual use' option. A lot of our customers like the idea of using their e-bike on the road but when it comes to serious off-road use, 25km/h and low power just doesn't cut it.

Dual Use

Together with the use of the USB reprogramming cable (available separately) the Vermillion is a truly versatile machine. This is the only electric bike on the market which boasts full dual capability.

Built for bush bashing

Whether you plan to use the Vermillion for commuting or for off-road activities, you will be riding an e-bike with a tremendous capability. The design of high-powered electric bikes is completely different from the regular road going, street legal types. The requirements from an electronic point of view are incredibly rigorous so the system is designed from the ground up to bear these requirements. Using a heavily detuned off road electric bike as your everyday ride will ensure a very, very long trouble-free commuting.

Unleash the beast

Out of the box the Vermillion is capable of 32km/h (before being detuned with the reprogramming cable). We don't use a throttle on the Vermillion because the pedal assist is so smoother but you can plug a throttle in if needed (we don't like the handlebar arrangement with the throttle, but it's up to you!) If you disable the speed limit (not recommended, but possible) you will get an easy 50km/h out of this weapon of an e-bike. This can be done using the LCD settings on the C965 display. Thanks to the sine wave controller, you cannot hear the motor at all. It's not just low noise, the motor is actually completely silent so when you power past the lycra clad seasoned athletes they won't have a clue!

Great preforming ebikeReview by Hayden
Functions as Described
Overall Rating
I have had the Vermillion for 2 months now and enjoying it so much!
I am a 6.4" tall and 140kg+ (24yo) and the Vermillion has no problem with me whatever.
So far I have done 288 kilometers on it and I feel as though I am getting definitely getting my money's worth and exactly what I want out an ebike.
The battery and motor is runs great and so smoothly, with only having to charge the battery maybe around 10 times in that period.
I myself can get around 55km of riding distance in one charge, which is ridiculous seeing how big I am.
Mind you I do pedal as much as I can for the batteries sake.
Really smooth ride! The suspension is lovely and has been adjusted too suite my ride perfectly.
I honestly dont have or can find any problem with this bike at all, so I can't leave anything bad to say.
Not even the seat hurts my rear yet!

Great job one this one Dillenger (Posted on 20/10/2017)
