Bafang has developed a new heavy duty, high performance mid drive motor that surpasses the performance of the BBS02. The BBS-HD (Also referred to as BBS03 or BBS-X) is a 1,000W nominal, 1,600W peak output monster of a mid-drive conversion kit, now with factory options for normal 68-73mm cranks as well as wider fat bike cranks (factory order). With 160Nm of torque, 30 Amp 12 MOSFET controller, and the choice of 2 high-drain Samsung cell battery packs, this conversion kit is the most powerful universal DIY mid drive on the market.

Motor Fitment
We recommend measuring the internal width of your bottom bracket and ensure you have between 68mm and 73mm to fit the BBS motor. For full fitment requirements see Will This Kit Fit My Bike?
Battery Fitment
The NT Battery case typically installs onto your drink bottle mounts along the top surface of your down tube. Its measurements are: 36cm long x 8.2cm wide x 12.5cm high.

absolutely happy with the product. should have queried the hub size for my particular bike. welded a 25mm spacer to the hub to fit the motor,.works fine. climbs mountains.now. am impressed

The converywas easy and the bike is great. Everything fitted as required although the self adhesive brake switches do not stay in place in the heat, but a drop of super glue has fixed that. I would recommend the kit to anyone.

Awesome kit, really transforms any bike frame into an off road weapon. The best customer service from Dillenger can’t praise them enough. Easy unit to install, as long as you get the tool kit. The gear sensor is magic too. Now I want one on every bike I own.

Just get one!
Only one day in - received yesterday and it took me about 2 hours to fit the system. It was pretty easy although it would be nice if Dillinger could post a more up-to-date, step by step installation video for this model specifically. I still have one wire coming from the motor with no idea what it is from. Having said that, I brought it out for a spin yesterday and today and OMG it is fantastic. Worth the money and the effort. Really just get one!
